Story
Kaela Thould is a very special 11 year old girl who unfortunately has severe quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy, grand mal epilepsy, Hydrocephalus, hip dysplasia and scoliosis. She is blind with only light perception and can not eat or drink enough orally so must be fed through gastrostomy.
She is beyond brave, having come through countless major operations and beat the odds every time.
Kaela is a happy life loving princess who loves laughter, music and the attention of her family.
Recently she had another major operation, a spinal fusion, which now means it is too dangerous for her parents to lift her so day to day tasks can prove very difficult. She has to sleep in the living room which means her mum and dad have to take turns sleeping on the sofa each night as it is too dangerous to leave her alone.
Funds raised will go towards essential equipment for Kaelas health, mobility and quality of life for example equipment to renovate her house to give Kaela her own bedroom, to create a sensory corner in her home and a portable hoist so that Kaela can leave the house.
Any donation, big or small, is SO appreciated and will go such a long way to improving this amazing little girls life.
Thank you.
