“Kakembo Street Children’s charity of Uganda” founded and run by Kakembo Steven is a unique, genuine grass roots organisation. Steven works hands-on with the children on the streets and has none of the infrastructure needed to run an organisation (apart from his phone); this approach means that all donations are used to help the street children directly.

I just want to say thank you so so much to everyone who has been kind enough to donate. Steven is now able to buy his bike and a bike lock so he can carry more essentials for the children and himself! I am so pleased we have reached well over the target so fast. But this does not mean I am stopping here. I have big plans for fundraising in and out of lockdown and I cannot wait to raise even more! Thank you again 💗
