’Angel Hill’

My friend & colleague had the heart wrenching task of saying goodbye to his best friend, soul mate, wife and mother to their amazing son George only a couple of weeks ago ... leaving way too soon.

Angie always had the brightest smile on her face no matter when you saw her. Standing at her goodbye service I was in awe of the shear amount of people her love, friendship, humour and smile touched.

A few days ago I crazily signed up to do a mountain of a task for me (not so much for people who love running). Gary knows only too well how much I hate running (every single step). So I have decided to join “ying & yang” ... the love everyone had for Angie and the hate I have for running. I am going to do the Ipswich half marathon in September 2018 with 2 of my crazy friends. I have named my challenge ‘Angel Hill’ after the beautiful lady Angela Hill.

I am aiming to raise money for a cause very close to Gary & Angie’s hearts. The special care baby unit at Boston Pilgrim Hospital. The figure I would like to reach is the special day back in 1997 that Gary & Angie‘s precious gift of their son George arrived in the world.

I hope Angie sends me some sunshine (not too hot though please) 😉
