One of our permanent residents is Jemima, she was handed in as a stray at a local vets, very weak, emaciated & covered in fleas & had to be put on a drip. When I went to collect her I couldn't believe how fragile she was but she never stopped purring! I was originally meant to foster her but after falling in love with her, I had to make her mine! She is ancient, has no teeth, is deaf & suffers from renal failure, which she receives a special diet for. She's so much stronger now, is so happy, loves her heated bed, cuddles & is totally adorable!
