Story
The HOYLAKE WILDCATS are the ONLY Special Needs BASKETBALL Team from MERSEYSIDE. They started way back in 2004 with just one Young Special
Needs Adult & his carer JON and since then it's grown into a Large, fun & exciting Tuesday afternoon team.
Last year, for the first time ever.. the Team entered into the MANCHESTER SPECIAL OLYMPICS on a two day event. This amazing team came 4th! All lead by the Amazing, self driven, motivated carer and Dedicated Coach MR JON SPINDLER. He lead his Proud Team to Victory and since then the Team have been having extra sessions as they have been accepted into the SHEFFIELD SPECIAL OLYMPICS in August 2017.
This Amazing Team needs supporting by the people of MERSEYSIDE as they are the ONLY team representing this part of the country.

Hi everyone who donated. A HUGE thanks to each and everyone of you. Our Amazing Team have just returned from the SHEFFIELD SPECIAL OLYMPICS 2017 And I'm very PROUD to announce that our Team came ..... THIRD!!! 🥉 They WILCATS worked so hard over the 5 day event Massive CONGRATULATIONS to our Team and Fantastic Coaches... Jon, Helen, Tony & Geoff for their hard work and dedication in leading our Team to VICTORY! All your contributions were extremely appreciated by us all. Thank you once again From the Wildcats Team xxx
