The Duke of Wellington pub , Leasingham, Lincolnshire has been the main hub of the local community for several generations. It isn't a posh pub, but it is our local and we want to keep it for our children and their children to enjoy. We want to keep the traditional pub and add a café so we can extend the opening hours and be the main hub of the village again.

The villagers, friends and family bought shares in Leasingham Community Benefit Society, to raise funds to buy the pub. Shares cost £50 each. We have applied for grant funding and small village events such as coffee mornings are helping to spread the word and raise money for the project.

We have a fantastic team of volunteers signed up and ready to renovate the bar, decorate the lounge and landlords accommodation, make a family friendly garden, kit out the games room with dart board and pool table. We need money for equipment, paint, garden furniture etc etc etc.
