17-20 July I am leading a team of 11 RAF Air Cadets from West Mercian Wing ATC to the International 4 day marches in Nijmegen, Holland. The challenge is to road march 100 miles (25 miles per day for 4 days consecutively) in uniform whilst carrying at least 10 Kg of dead weight.

The team training and selection started way back in January and to be eligible to attend, all personal had to complete RAF WARMA at RAF Cosford carrying weight and completing 50 miles over 2 days.

I’ve decided that I would like to raise some money for the Worcester Squadron's cadet Welfare fund and the RAF Benevolent Fund. Please give genoursly as I have already contributed much blood, sweat and tears.

The Squadron welfare fund assists cadets from less fortunate backgrounds and circumstances and allows them to fully participate in the cadet activities.

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity with a proud tradition of looking after its own. We are there for all serving and former members of the RAF as well as their partners and dependent children.
