Story

We are a small theatre company called Higher level Theatre. We are, and very passionate about our work we do. We work with young people and senior citizen, and together we have created this story "U Can't Run" from real life prospect, coming to together to tell their stories, trying to find a solution to knife crime, and gangs culture, as to why our young people are crying knives. By doing this production we hope to address and have an impact on one's lives, which are now the creation of this generation. "U Can"t Run" is a compelling story of a father and son's relationship and 3 generations coming to terms with the cycle of history repeating its self.

Synopsis of Play U CANT RUN:

A dramatic compelling story, as Maxi tries to stop his son from repeating the same patterns as him when he was growing as a child. Maxi now struggles with his own son's decision, to carry a knife. This play is to make people be aware and reflected on their own lives, as Maxi and his friends delve deeper, into their own past, hoping this would make a difference to his sons behaviour.

The money we receive will help us to hire the empire. props, costumes, set building, insurance,
