Approximately 60% of kidney failure patients fail to get kidney replacement treatment (dialysis) in Kashmir division of Jammu & Kashmir, India. Reasons being very limited slots in extremely busy government hospitals and high cost of treatment in private sector. Kidney failure if not treated can lead to death of the patients.

I and some of my friends have pledged to raise funds for one Dialysis Unit (Fresenius Dialysis Unit) to support existing charitable trust (Voluntary Medical trust) who deliver kidney replacement treatment at affordable cost to the patients. We have raised about £3000.00 through KashRehab ( our small community group)and are looking for £5000.00 to achieve desired target of £8000.00 which is the total cost of unit.
