Story
Alison is a single mother and a nurse.
This JustGiving page is to help her raise the money she needs for legal costs to protect a 9 year old child in a custody battle.
The absent father has applied to see their child, after at least 6 years of not having any face to face contact.
Alison has brought their child up on her own with minimal contributions from the absent father.
Alison has already had to pay £2500 towards the first steps of her legal battle, instructing her solicitor and Barrister.
The court process will be a long process as there are significant issues around domestic violence, both psychological and emotional perpetrated by her ex-partner .
There are also issues around physical violence against Alison’s older son, illegal hunting and killing of animals using dangerous pitbull-cross dogs and racial abuse towards Alison.
As her friend, I wanted to set up a JustGiving page so that people can support Alison to continue to fight her ex-partner and to protect her young child from being exposed to significant harm from the father’s behaviour.
Alison is a medical professional, who claims no state benefit and has had to work extra Agency shifts just to pay her bills. The impact financially has been a huge burden and I am trying to help her, as her friend, to alleviate some of the financial burden.
Any contribution would be most helpful whilst Alison continues to fight to protect her child.
