Tony Ward, a great and valued friend to many and a much-loved partner of 10 years to Amanda, sadly passed away in hospital after a short lung illness on 19th May 2018, aged 62 years young.

His family and close friends gathered on Friday 8th June at with an expectation of wearing no black and instructed to wear colourful clothes for his funeral for a colourful farewell. After a loving and beautiful service, his friends gathered together afterward to have a drink and celebrate his life.

It was at this after party that I let Amanda know that if she needed anything or if I could help her in any way, she could reach out to me and I would be there for here. 1 week after Tony's funeral I received a text from Amanda, she was in a complete panic and distress because all her assets that she and Tony had together are currently frozen due to her not having any control over Tony's last will and testament.

Tony had never gotten around to changing the executor of his will, and so the power is left to Tony's present executor. Due to this, Amanda has had everything frozen and no access to anything, she has been left with nothing and is cut off completely from what she and Tony shared in the 10 years they were together.

This has left Amanda now in a position where she could lose her home in 4 weeks time and has had to go back to work 1 week after her partner's funeral just to earn some part-time income just to feed herself. As if it isn't stressful enough to lose the man you loved, but now she is facing homelessness and having to go back to work 1 week after his funeral.

I wanted to set up this page to ask Tony's friends and work colleagues to come together to help Amanda. So that we can all stand together in the memory of Tony and give a helping hand to the lady who loved him and cared for him right up until his dying day. If we can help take some pressure away from her financially, it will help her gain some time to adjust to her new reality without Tony, and give her some time to decide what she wants to do with her and Tony's home.

The overall goal of this page is to ease Amanda's stress and help her not lose her home in the next few weeks. If you could please help out and donate any little you can, it will ease the pressure from this ladies shoulders.
