My dad has had his bike stolen from outside his address - it was locked, keys out and chained up. He has had a rough year with all manner of health problems and had just got a new job as a courier which he loved - he loved the freedom of using his bike to travel long distances and found it a good release after the year he's had. He has his health back on track, and this job has also allowed him to start to earn some money again after being off work with his illness as well as giving him a bit of a sense of freedom again. My dad would never be happy relying on benefits as he enjoys working and earning his money and has a family to provide for at home with 2 children of secondary school age. He's already had to take drastic measures including selling his house after the amount of money he lost through being ill and unable to work, and he started this job for a new beginning to get himself and the family back on track.

I've created this fundraiser to help my hardworking dad replace his bike and get back to work to help him continue to provide for his family at home who have struggled a lot this year. He finally found a job he loved and it's been heartlessly taken away from him in the form of his bike. Please can anyone donate whatever they can, I'd love to see him back in good spirits and enjoying work again just as he had finally begun to, and without his bike this just can't happen at the moment for him.

All donations will be collated to buy my dad a new bike so he can get back on the road, enjoying his job again.
