Story
For Unspoken's latest project we hope to present at the International Society of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC) conference in 2018. We hope to spread our important message about how vital communication is to an international audience.
We will be making a video based on peoples experiences of communication. With this we hope to break down stereotypes and harmful attitudes towards those with speech disabilities. We will be collecting views and opinions from a wide range of people, both AAC and non-AAC peeps.
It is important to us that AAC users are heard, to create better representation of AAC, and improve communication access worldwide. It is our dream that people speak to AAC users like a human being, as they would regardless of age, where they are from, or anything else that might make them different.
This is the biggest most ambitious project Unspoken has undertaken so far, but so important too, and we need your help (and money!) to do it.
Please help us to get our voice out there to change the world!
