Hi there, I’m a Doula and Doula Educator who’s raising money to fund a start-up for a new project called ‘Doulas Without Borders’, which will provide Doulas (supporting and empowering companions) to women and their babies in vulnerable times during pregnancy, birth and in early motherhood.

There are pregnant women all over the U.K (and the world) who are alone and unsupported, who need our help right now, and a Doula can provide that companionship, support, empowerment, education and nurture, which can make all the difference to a woman’s experience and that of her newborn.

We know that this time is key for making positive change and that this time is creating an imprint for the baby’s future life, so this is very much a social change project. We aim, with your help, to contribute to making a positive step towards healing the next generation by leaving a legacy of love and nurture.

DWB will initally provide a directory of voluntary Doulas as a resource for vulnerable pregnant women. Your donation will also go towards setting up a website, to training, creating and distributing flyers and to maintaining an online database.
