Race day!!!! We did it. Me and 2999 other runners ran around Ipswich in all its glory. The weather was amazing and it felt too hot at some points. However the crowds were amazing, giving out jelly babies and cheering everyone on. Fellow runners were very supportive and it was great to see familiar faces at various points throughout the run. A big thank you to everyone who sponsored me online and in the library. The total stands at £314 so far. Donations are still welcome and the money will be put to good use in the library.

Well, the day is almost upon us and things aren't looking as great as we had hoped. Unfortunately, due to a foot injury, Ali has had to pull out of running. There is no point in pushing oneself, making it worse and it has been a very hard decision for Ali to no longer take part. Personally I could not have got this far without Ali's undying support and I want to thank her for being there and generally being an awesome runny buddy and true friend. Not only will I be running for the Friends of Capel Library, but for friends everywhere and Ali.

Well, there are only 3 weeks to go until the big challenge, and it is a big challenge. There have been blood sweat and tears along the way, but yet we keep on running, keep on running. Eek, wish us luck.
