Girlguiding provides a safe space for girls to express themselves both here in the UK and abroad. Open to all girls and young women, it allows us to increase our opportunities and learn new skills which will have a positive impact on our futures

I have been selected as an assistant leader for the Girlguiding South West region international service project to Mexico. In July 2019, I will be taking a group of 16 Guides and Senior Section Girls (14-25) to volunteer as part of a community service project trip in Mexico. Our work will include teaching and care work activities with children, supporting with animal conservation work and research projects across various locations. I am doing this to give an amazing opportunity for young women to be involved in an international service project, make a difference to communities, protect wildlife and our world environment.
