My amazing daugther katalina is trying to raise money to help her uncle. She is going to shave off her hair (which she loves dearly and over the years has become very attatched to) in the hopes of raising enough money to get him the equipment he needs.

n Febuary 2018 Andy collapsed and doctors indused him into a coma. Diagnosed with Subdural Empyema.

Subdural empyema is a collection of pus between the two layers that cover the brain. mainly caused due to bacterial infection. Symtoms such as High fever, neck rigidity, vomiting, confused state of mind, drowsiness and Headaches. All easily shrugged of as a bad cold and a night on the sofa with Lemsip.

This was a huge shock to us all as Andy was always a busy fit and young guy, joking around working in the public sector great with customers- big and bold. He spent alot of time caring for his four children and adored their time together. Subdural empyema is a life threatening condition, that has changed Andys life forever. This has left Andy bedbound unable to move, unable to speak- only with his eyes. We are so keen to help as we all feel so powerless.

We hope to raise the funds to supply Andy with the specialised equipment called Eyegaze Edge. An eye-operated communication and control system, helping Andy use his eyes like a mouse and keyboard, to communicate with his children, the doctors about any symptoms. To communicate any feelings or concerns. To have a general chat with his family, something we all take for granted. We want to release him from his own prison, trapped inside his own body- something any humanbeing would struggle to live with, we are keen to improve his quality of life

by...giving Andy a voice.
