£15raised of £500 target by 1 supporter

Weʼre raising £500 to World Challenge India 2019.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

My intention is to raise £3000 from a variety of ways, this money will contribute to bettering the lives of children and people in the poorer communities of India. This can be achieved by social projects such as building schools and teaching English. Also with health projects such as bringing fresh water into communities. I will be travelling with my school to experience life out there; to camp in the Himalayas and to challenge myself both mentally and physically. I think raising this money is vital because so many children lack school education, something which can give them a number of huge opportunities. If I raise this money then I can be a part of making those children's future more promising by building them schools so they have the opportunity to learn and develop and grow, the opportunities that are taken for granted here in the UK. That's another reason I think this experience is important to me because I want to see a new way of life so that I can appreciate my life more and be more hard working when I return, I hope this will help me take opportunities handed to me more seriously.
