I found out recently that a family friend and neighbor has received some devastating news. Darren and clair and their two boys have been given the news that Darren who is only 45 has terminal cancer. He has an 8cm tumor in his oesophagus, and its in his lymphatic system , and it is at stage 3, and that there is nothing that can be done to help him.
He is currently undergoing chemotherapy to make it more comfortable for him to swallow food, and he's been given a prognosis of 2-12 month and is under MacMillan.
This has come as a devastating blow to himself and his wife and boys.
In these situations as friends you feel the need to help in whatever way you can! Darren Has been told by his consultant to start making memories and so i thought it would be a nice idea to raise some funds to give him and his family one last break away together to make memories they can cherish forever, Darren has a few things he would like to do with his family whilst he has the strength to do so, Darren and clair have been together 21 years and married 10 and never been on holiday together so this is something I think they deserve to have to take lots of pictures and make happy memories.
So please read Clair and Darren's story and if you can donate anything, anything at all, no matter how small it will be very much appreciated by myself but more so Darren, Clair and there boys. Let's help this lovely family make some everlasting memories. Xx
