Hi everyone, my name is Katie Minto. Next year I am participating in an event called World Challenge Expedition which will take me to Namibia in Africa.

World Challenge is an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to travel to developing countries and gain global citizenship skills by supporting local community based projects. Previous years projects have included building wells and clasrooms for village schools, building facilities for orphanages and conservation projects to protect endangered wildlife.World Challenge: community engagement 2016.

I am hoping to raise this money to help fund my expedition. I plan to do this by organising some fundraising events in the near future and I am currently in the process of getting a part time job. I will also be trying to sell any items I can as every little bit helps.
