    Story

Our mission is to promote awareness, support affected individuals and advance research for the prevention, treatment and recovery of FND. FND is due to a problem with the functioning of the nervous system and thought to be the result of the brain’s inability to send and receive signals properly. I have been suffering from Functional and Dissociative Neurological Disorder for six years now, it began with many months in hospital. Then leading to two years paralysed from the waist down, from there I was paralysed from the neck down with the inability to sit up. I have had to drop back a year at school, barely able to take my GCSEs without pssing out with the unbearable pain that cause me to have non epileptic seizures for up to six hours with no rest, I no longer felt I had a life other than what I was suffering from. There are thousands of people that suffer from this, the world over and I am hoping that just by raising a bit of money it can help with the potentiality of finding a cure.
