Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
My daughter Kaitlynn is 11 years old. Recently diagnosed with Autism, severe learning difficulties, high anxiety and global development delay. A recent test showed her cognitive ability to be that of a 4 year old, so even though she is 11 her brain works at that of a much younger child. she was taken out of school over a year ago due to severe bullying, lack of understanding and incapeability to understand the work or make friends. This year so far, her father (whom i split with when she was young!) passed away very suddenly, leaving me to tell her he was gone, which is still effecting her very badly, his wife and her children do not want to see my daughter either because of how she is, so not only has she lost her dad, but a whole family too. Also, my relationship broke down because of his inability to accept my daughter for who she is. He now wants nothing to do with her at all.
I had to quit my job to be her full time carer as well as mother, father & school teacher too. I would love an oppotunity to take her on such a magical journey (to capture many amazing memories in pictures, ones she wont remember as she suffers with her memory) after all shes lost. Please can someone help 😔
There is a chairy that offers grants of up to £500 to families for holidays but it has to be booked through one agency and their prices seem to double booking through them so it doesn’t end up being helpful 😔
