LAST year, I volunteered in Thailand with rescued elephants and many other animals. On this trip I experienced a new culture and was able to speak to so many different people. This trip inspired me to go away and do more volunteering with animals across the world.
SO in summer 2017, I am planning to go to Sri Lanka to widen my knowledge of turtle conservation with a girl I met on my last volunteering journey. We will also be spending a weekend seeing the country of Sri Lanka and going to a number of national parks, tea plantations and we get to see remarkable waterfalls.
Our volunteering will include collecting turtle eggs and releasing the hatchlings, looking after and feeding the turtles and cleaning the beaches making sure it's safe for all creatures around.
