    Story

Keep Emmer Green (KEG) is a campaign group formed by local residents from Emmer Green, Caversham, Caversham Park Village and villages in South Oxfordshire bordering the northern boundaries of Reading Borough

We believe that any significant residential development on green space in Emmer Green and the surrounding areas of South Oxfordshire will be unsustainable

Our aim is to keep you and the local community informed about significant proposals and oppose housing developments that will affect all our lives and change the face of the local area and countryside for ever

Current threats to our neighbourhood include potential large-scale housing developments on Reading Golf Club land, Palmers Riding Stables land and a large site in Playhatch

We are initially looking to raise £750 to cover our campaign costs to raise awareness (website, leaflets, posters, fundraising events etc.) and to ensure the local authorities are aware of local opposition when planning applications are submitted
