Story
Do you know someone with Diabetes? Do you know a child under 12 with type 1 Diabetes and has to inject? Help us change their lives
Our Insulin Pump Therapy Project is targeted to provide young people with Type 1 Diabetes throughout Dumfries and Galloway with a life-changing Insulin Pump which will transform their lives. Although the NHS in Dumfries and Galloway do not have the funds to support our young people Rotary Newton Stewart has partnered with them. The NHS will make the project sustainable by training families, repairing and replacing the Insulin Pumps when they come to the end of their life. Our target is 50 pumps at £4000 each. If we raise the desired amount Rotary International will provide an equivalent grant. Any help which you can give will go towards changing the lives of young people in our community. Rotary will account for every penny of a donation. We do not have any administration costs other than what Just Giving costs.
Please help. Young Ben in the photograph is benefitting from his pump and is our main support to change the lives of other.
