    Story

Imagine going to sleep and waking up seriously unwell with no warnings!

That is just what has happened to my best friends dad....

On boxing day 2017 he woke up a different person. No one would ever know this would be the first day to the rest their new lives!!

See what he was fighting was a serious infection and the word sepsis was dropped on them like a bomb. Little did they know but this would turn their entire world upside down.

For 54 days my friends dad would fight for his life in the Northern General hospital on critical care, under go 5 operations and have his full left hip removed with the heartbreaking news that a new one would not be going back in its place as the infection was that bad it would just be far to risky. This has left my friends dad unable to walk. He also had 2 operations on his right arm and unfortunately along with the sepsis it has led to being Restricted on his arm movements.

4 times he was very close to death and 4 times as a family they planned for the worse.

life is now going to be a massive challenge for them all!!! hes still fighting strong and the road ahead is going to be very long. Although a hard one they all still have him with them. So for now he is continuing treatment in the hospital and is hopefully looking at returning home in the next few months BUT this is where we need the help of anyone who can. What we need is a electric wheelchair for him to be able to lead as independent life as possible.

Please just £1 from 1000 people will raise enough to provide mick a little bit of his life back.

    Thanks
