I am currently in touch with Karen & Paul Ledsham, the parents of Harrison & Abigail who you may have seen on this years Children in Need.
When I watched their story, along with a lot of people, my heart ached for them. All of the stories that Children In Need show, are very sad, but this one made me cry more than any other. I can't even begin to imagine what they have been through, or how they must be feeling!
So anyway, I took it on myself to message Karen, and ask her permission to create a fund raising page. I would love to raise enough money for them, to send them on the holiday of a lifetime! They certainly deserve it after everything that they have been through. I currently work for Thomson Travel Agents, and can think of some pretty amazing places to send them!
Karen messaged me back not long after saying that they wouldn't usually accept anything, and they would usually tell people to give the money to charities, but a holiday would certainly be something amazing to look forward to after such a hard time.
So, lets get this very brave couple an amazing holiday and give them a little bit of happiness back!
