I am participating in the Balmoral 10k run on Saturday the 21st April. My aim is to raise awareness of a local Aberdeen charity that I am a member of - 'North East Crohn's & Colitis Trust'. The charity helps those affected with Crohn's or Colitis; two diseases that are lesser known yet the North East of Scotland sees a significantly higher number of cases than the national average. The reasons for this are unknown and as yet there is no definitive cure for either disease. Funding assists the charity to undertake valuable research to try to determine a cause and ultimately find a cure.

The charity is run by the Specialist doctors at ARI and is very close to my heart with both my sister and I suffering from Crohn's disease. Please give anything you can in order to directly support this worthwhile local charity.
