    Story

    ******************************WINTER APPEAL********************************

    KATIE’S CRADLE SCO46370

As we all know, the costs for animal charities significantly rise over the winter months which can result in quite a struggle. Rental, haylage, bedding, feed, vet and farrier costs all mount up. To be able to provide proper care for the 8 horses we have in our care all these costs need to be covered.

Our ultimate aim is to make sure the animals are fully provided for to allow us to move onto the next level of our Charitable Objectives. After an extremely challenging year, we are starting to get back on track and will be linking up with other charities to provide projects for our communities in the coming year and we need YOUR help to get us there.

Every penny donated mounts up and makes a massive difference to the horses under our care. There are NO WAGES paid to any member of staff so all donations go directly to the horses care.

We thank you for taking the time to read this and hope that you can help us to help the horses through the winter months.

    The Katie’s Cradle Team.

Apologies for the lack of updates. We have been dealing with Spirit who has had to have the vet out due to a hip/pelvic injury. He is now on boxrest for the foreseeable future until he has fully recovered. The vet is monitoring him regularly to make sure his treatment and recovery is as straightforward as possible. Unfortunately these things are quite commonplace with horses but it still frays the nerves, we are just glad this is fixable and we will do whatever it takes to make sure his recovery is swift. Much love Folks xxx
