Donna Edwards (37) was first famous for being the first baby to be adopted in the UK outside of the EU. Through the years Donna has become more famous for her London commuting train rants and her inability to not have an opinion about everything. Today Donna is famous for something else, she is famous for battling against stage 4 stomach cancer, which she was diagnosed with 12 months ago. It has been an emotional roller coaster for Donna and her family, her husband Scott and her daughter Grace (10) and son George (6). Last December 2017 Donna underwent 6 session of chemo which she embraced and was extremely resilient to the possible side effects. Shaving off our best friends hair (without it being a practical joke) wasn't something we never envisaged, but she rocked it!

After receiving successful results it looked like the cancer was contained enough for Donna to have a possible stomach removal. There was hope for the future! Unfortunately this is no longer an option as the cancer has aggressively spread into her rib and possibly her lungs. Donna has been such an inspiration and she has fought so hard against this disgusting disease with pride and dignity. It has always been a wish for her husband Scott to see the Northern lights and this is something Donna wants to fulfil with him whist she can.
