Earlier this year I went over to Gambia to meet a very good friend of mine called Buba Ceesay. Buba has been working on this project for over 10 years. He runs a local Nursery, which has about 120 children from the ages of 3 to 7 years old. All these children are sponsored to attend school and sponsors are from all over the world.

He informed me that a lot of children drop out of school after Nursery because the Primary school is too far to walk, is very dangerous, and the parents cannot afford transport.

Next door to the Nursery is a plot of land and Buba has a dream to buy the plot of land and build a Primary school for all of the children in the community to attend.

The plot of land is £7,000 and the cost of building a school is about £13,000. Will you please help me to raise money so that over 400 children can attend school? One of their human rights. Please can you share to as many people as you can?

Whatever is raised will be used for the children in Gambia. Thank you very much!
