Story
Welcome to the Cambrai battlefield charity walk page. 20th November 2017 marks the centenary of the Battle of Cambrai, the first great successful mass tank attack in history. A group of 2nd Royal Tank Regiment veterans will be walking the battlefield to honour their military ancestors and raise money for 2RTR veterans in need.
Follow their preparations for the walk, read background information about Cambrai and the men who fought there, and how their bravery and actions started a tradition that continues right up to the present day..
You may also wish to help us out with a small donation to our veterans charity: 2ND Helping's.
