As'salam'ualikum (peace and blessing be upon you), I pray you are all well and in the best of health.
Alhamdulilah, by the mercy of Allah SWT, both my family and I have been given the strength to help raise money for the people of Bangladesh.
Growing up, seeing my family members all gather and donate towards charitable organisations as well as our own family hospital was something very close to our hearts. Recently, the demand for healthcare has significantly increased since the start of the COVID 19 pandemic. I address these basic facts because the hospital I will be raising money for has been supplying free medical aid for individuals, particularly in my own village in Bangladesh for over a year and I would like to help continue this service to aid our brothers and sisters in desperate need.
Currently, we have treated many vulnerable patients including women and children, however, we would like to expand and continue providing free medical care which can only be done through your donations.
As a result, Dessert Infusion will be raising money for the ABK charitable hospital, founded by my late uncle, Khairul Huda Choudhury in Sylhet, Bangladesh. This will help those who require immediate medical assistance, free medication as well as provide hospital facilities such as beds and equipment to help improve the quality of care. It was a pledge made by my late uncle that no female, especially those who are pregnant should have to face any difficulty when receiving medical aid, thus we believe that it is our responsibility to provide free healthcare to those who need it the most.
This year, I would like to give us all the opportunity to help those who need our generosity the most, therefore, I have pledged to donate 100% of all donations made from my cake sample boxes to the ABK hospital this Ramadan. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”
Zakat and sadaqah are accepted. I pray that Allah SWT continues to bless you in his utmost mercy and that he accepts all your acts of worship.
