Story
Swindon ITF Taekowndo school raising funds for kicks for Keira.
Kiera is a Black belt in kick boxing at Swindon Martial arts and fitness, Keira was diagnosed with acute myeloid Leukaemia a week before Christmas and to make matters worse this caused a blood clot on her brain and she had to undergo 7 hours of surgery to fix this, Mum and Dad (Emma and Geoff) were told to expect her not to talk and lose movement in the left side of her body, but luckily Keira is one tough cookie who knows how to fight and she is talking and gradually has got up and about a bit. She has a long road of Chemotherapy ahead of her and the Bristol Royal hospital for children seem to be doing a great job. We firstly want to send all of our best wishes to the Dancey family who have been incredibly brave.
6 months on and Keira is still undergoing treatment and hoping to be allowed home soon but with daily visits back to the hospital, Keira is fighting it all the way and doing really well but does still have a long journey ahead so let's raise some funds and help Keira beat this!
