Kieran is a talented workshop apprentice at CBM. He started the post in August 2017 and has been travelling to the Swansea office from Carmarthen every day. Due to this commute he wanted to invest in a motorbike and began to save up money. He passed his CBT test in February 2018 and he was delighted to finally purchase a Yamaha YBR for £1000 2 days after.

Within a week of purchasing, the motorbike was stolen from the Ethos Building underground car park by hooded youths. Although CCTV footage was available and police were involved in the investigation the motorbike could not be retrieved.

Following the news of the non retrieval of the motorbike he began discussions with his insurance company to begin the claim. Much to Kieran's disappointment he had to pay the excess cover of £500 and also payout the remainder of the contract of £460. Leaving him will a grand total of just £40 to spend on a new motorbike.

Kieran has since been commuting on the train from Carmarthen costing £30 a week (double on the fuel that he would be paying). We at CBM would like to support Kieran following on from the injustice not only from having the motorbike stolen but being let down by insurance system.
