We are a small nursery with limited funding. Most of the funding goes on one or two big buys for the children.
Our nursery is classed as a temporary structure and as such we have had to raise funds ourselves to have the outside area covered in a special play covering to allow the children to play outdoors without fear of injury from falling on the concrete. We have a few children who benefit from having the opportunity to play outside and to run off their excess energy before coming in and settling down for the session. This covering will cost us £8250 and must be provided by a registered company approved by Aberdeenshire Council. We have raised a significant amount by ourselves and with the help of some very generous local businesses and community groups (£5500) and we have some fundraising still to come to us but we have this last hurdle to jump to give us the opportunity to complete the project as soon as we can. Please can you help us to reach our target before the spring so they can enjoy the beautiful weather outside.
