Hi Everyone,

The Reason I've Made This Account Is Because I've Fallen On Such Hard Times. I Didn't Think I'd Actually Have To Do This, But Here I Am. I'm Currently Doing A Postgrad Degree In Civil Engineering At Sheffield Uni. Anyone That's Doing Or Has Done A Postgraduate Degree Knows How Hard It Is And How Overwhelming It Can Be. Long Story Short, I Had To Reduce My Hours At Work Then I Eventually Had To Leave Because I Felt Like My Grades Were Suffering Due To The Stress Of Work And The Course Itself. I Didn't Qualify For Student Finance/Loans Etc Because You Have To Have Lived In The UK For A Certain Number Of Years To Qualify And I Only Came Here To Do A Bachelor's Degree, I Didn't Think I'd Enjoy The Course So Much And End Up Continuing On To Do A Postgrad. So Myself And My Family Have Paid My Tuition Fees For The Last Four Years. Anyway, I Have Been Able To Support Myself Up Until Recently. I Know People Will Say I Should Ask Family, Friends Etc To Help Out First. I Have, And If They Could Have Helped Out More, I Know They Would Have, As I Know How Much It Hurts Them To Feel Like They Can't Support Me. My Course Ends In September This Year So Unfortunately I Am Going To Be Spending My Summer Writing My Thesis. So I Just Need Some Help To Cover Costs To And From University, Food, Bills Etc Until Then.
