Killinghall PTA is participating in a Sponsored Reading Stars Challenge in the run up to #WorldBookDay on Thursday 3rd March 2022.

It’s super fun and easy for everyone to do! The challenges have been created to encourage children and young people to enjoy books and reading together at home and all the exciting ways you can share stories – not just at bedtime!

From reading a book that makes them giggle to finding the most unusual place to share a story, your child will have fun reaching all their stars! The children can be sponsored for every star they complete or for finishing the sheet. KS1 have 12 stars on their sheet and KS2 have 21 stars.

The children have until Thursday 3rd March, which is World Book Day, to complete their challenge. Please use the JustGiving link below to sponsor your child to complete the challenge and print off the KS1 or KS2 sheet as appropriate so that you can keep a record of which stars they have achieved! There is an option on both sheets to complete the challenge online and at the end you can print off their certificate to say a big well done!
