Hi my sister and her family have lost their family home due to a house fire yesterday thankfully there wasn't any one at home so no one was hurt but they only have what they were wearing yesterday. They are now living in a hotel and have been told it will be at least 6 months until they have any hope of returning to their house. They have 3 children two with additional needs and have to live altogether in one room at a premier inn with no cooking facilities etc All of the children's Christmas presents either went up in flames or have had smoke damage. They do have house insurance but as you can appreciate this will not be in place until investigations have been completed.
Please donate what you can every penny will help this family get some normality back.

Firefighters from Penwortham and Tarleton responded to a report of a fire in the kitchen of a house. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire and a portable fan unit to extract the smoke and heat. There were no casualties. The cause of the fire is to be determined.
