I was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung cancer in October 2017 which had also spread to the brain causing 2 brain tumours. In December i had one surgically removed and in January i received radiotherapy on the second tumour, i am having scans every 3 months until we get clearance.

In May i was then told i had two blood clots on the lungs and an enlarged heart for which i have to take various medications and am unable to do many exercises, i have been laid up for 5-6mths and finally in a good position to start getting up and about and alot more self suffucient. I enjoy going into the local town a couple of days a week to get my shopping but as I live at the top of a very steep hill, i am unable to walk back home with shopping, therefore myself and some very generous friends and worl colleagues will be doing various activities to raise funds for me to purchase a mobility scooter.
