Hi all on the 9th of May I will be doing a 145ft drop abseil off Alton castle . This is in the hopes of raising the funds to journey on a pilgrammage to lourdes for the second time . During my pilgrim to lourdes I will be working with sick and elderly people in Lourdes as a ‘handmaid’ in the Accueil hospital. This is an experience that was really rewarding for me the first time i went in 2016 which is why I have decided to take on the opportunity to go to Lourdes again this year. In my role as a ‘handmaid ‘ I am required to transport the elderly and infirm around Lourdes, ensure they are comfortable and that they are enjoying their Lourdes ‘experience’.
