Story
We are collecting for the Royal Berkshire Intensive Care Unit and the ICU Support Network Reading, in memory of Karen Louise Ramsden 19/06/1970- 13/05/2018
Karen was a much-loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunty and great friend to so many.
She was taken suddenly and far too soon by sepsis; whilst in hospital she was cared for so well by the doctors and nurses in the intensive care unit - they tried absolutley everything, but sadly it was not to be.
Whilst she was in hospital, we were offered access to comfotable lounges, bedrooms, showers, tea and coffee as well as toiletries - this may sound trivial but we did not expect the unexpected and were able to stay long periods at the hospital with Karen due to these small comforts.
We would like to raise money in Karens memory for the ICU to continue their amazing staff development, for lifesaving equipment and for the facilities offered to relatives of patients.
Karen was amazing and will be sadly missed by all of us xxx She has always been an angel xxx now she is with them x

So sad to hear the news about Karen. She was feisty, funny and always made Oracle a brighter place to be when she was there. All the best, Heather
