My name is Stephen Douglas, I am 13.

My good friend and nephew, Peter Douglas, who is also 13, was diagnosed with stage 4 Ewings Sarcoma.

Peter will be going to America in the coming weeks for Proton Therapy. The news of Peter's illness has been devastating for Peter and our family.

Peter has asked me to go to America with him, to help him get through his treatment journey.

My time with Peter is not about talking about this terrible illness. It's about making memories, laughter and doing what teenage boys do, as much as possible.

As I am 13, and unable to fund my flight, I have decided to put one foot in front of the other, and do everything I can to raise the funds to support my friend.

On 5th Feb I am walking from Majuba car park, Redcar, to the Ship Inn in Saltburn and back.

I hope that you will support me to support Peter.
