Story
1-12 people die in the UK of sudden adult death syndrome, however i believe the stats are much higher. Especially when i lost my brother not so long ago and then his best pal Scott lost his cousin Sam to the same thing, I have raised over 20K to date to help research and also its allowed me to have over 200 hearts screened in Saltcoats. Scot and I are running the Glencoe half marathon on 3rd October and then on 28th October hosting a Halloween charity even , any money raised will be split between C.R.Y and to buy defibrillators , hoping to have one situated outside the Saltcot in Saltcoats and other still to be decided. If the government wont introduce screening then its up to the like of myself and Scott to continue fundraising . If we can help just one family going through the hell we go through every day then its all worth it . If you can spare a few pennies for such a good cause .Hopefully these will never need to be used but to know they are there is piece of mind . You just dont know whats round the corner xx thanks very much love Kirsty and Scott
