I expected this last chemo to hit the hardest, and the effects have certainly lasted ,longer. Rest and recuperation is needed. The recovery doesn't end with the chemo. This has taken a lot out of me physically and emotionally, and I am perhaps only realising now just how much. I work when I can, but sometimes I do some writing even though chemo brain doesn't really want to. The closer I get to my goal, the more I will be able to listen to my body and brain) and turn down work when I really should be resting.

Chemo is over! Had my last session 2 days ago. Nice end to the year after the stress of the last 6 months. Now a year of medication and a few months' recovery.
