£1,150raised of £1,000 target by 21 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,150 to help a terminally ill 5 year old girl to fund her travel to and from Great Ormond Street every 2 week for rest of her life

Funded on Thursday, 18th January 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Kaycee is 5 years old also from Sutton she has been diagnosed with a rare brain condition called Battens disease, she will sadly not live past 9 but hoping till 12/13 with enzyme treatment, luckily for us she has been accepted on to the treatment this year starting end of this month and has to attend Great Ormond Street hospital, London every 2 week for the rest of her life. We are trying to raise funds for a last family holiday and more importantly for Expenses to London and back every fortnight. It's so rare this disease that only roughly 20 people in Britain with it and less than 300 in the world,

On the 7th October 2017, 12 volunteers from Knauf Insulation in St Helens (Greg Hunter, Terry Parr, Ged Bushell, Chris Parr, Janet Millington, Sean Ashall, Chris Hodgkinson, Anthony Cunningham, Ste King, Paul Hindley, James Henderson, Peter O’Hara) are to undertake the "Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge".

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24-miles long, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.

Please can you help in any way? There has been many media organisations coming through now to bring awareness of this disease and St. Helens papers and community's are coming together holding many fundraising events ????
