Support the Korean Women's Lacrosse Squad on their World Cup journey!
The squad are entering the World Cup for the third time, held in Guildford, UK this July. We have just hosted the Asian and South Pacific Championships in June on Jeju Island, Korea, where we placed fourth. Although it wasn't the result we had hoped for, we go into the World Cup in high spirits, having beaten New Zealand for the first time.

Lacrosse is still very much an unknown sport in Korea. We have no official lacrosse pitch and often train on dirt fields in public parks, and in shared public facilities. We have little support, sponsors or resources to help us on our campaign despite our growing success on the international stage. This year in particular is costing each squad member more than expected, at approximately 5000 GBP. That is the amount the players need to cough up individually, to be able to represent their country in a sport they each play out of pure passion and love for the game.

The squad is starting this fundraising campaign to support each player's dream of competing at these international tournaments. We would very much appreciate any help to support the team's expenses. Of course, any official sponsorships are welcome, and please do get in touch if you are interested. Lucky supporters will be chosen at the end of our campaign to receive various Korea Lacrosse merchandise (including snapbacks and waterproofs!).
