My friends Cheryl, Kaye and I are taking part in a 10k run to raise some funds for two worthy causes. One being Kidney Care UK and a local young lads U9's Football Team.

I have chosen Kidney Care UK as its a charity close to my family, as my Brother has been in and out of hospital since he was born with kidney failure. He has had two kidney transplants and now has no kidneys and living off Dialysis which he has been for a number of years now. So It would be nice for me to show a little appreciation to this charity.

I have also chosen my local U9's football team to help them raise money to be able to expand their opportunities. This money will help buy latest training equipment, fund entry to tournaments and also help fund indoor training venues for the dark winter months. My Son will also be taking part of the fun run on this day to help raise money for his team.
