KPAIS are a local charity who help to support older people within our community . KPAIS have recentley launched a new service 'SHOP' ( Supporters Helping Older People ) . The service provides a shopping , befriending and Advocacy service . We also deliver an Advocafe service in various locations in Knowsley . This enables people to meet and chat over a cuppa & light snack . Advocafe is free of charge And is a great success .

It has come to our attention , after listening to our older community that transport is a big issue ; we have identified a need that we want to support if we can . KPAIS dont have the funds to assist with a mini bus, which would benefit alot of older people who want to get out, but cant . If we had a mini bus, we can provide staff to accompany people to get out to the shops , cafes , hair dressers and attend activities that may be going on in their community .
