Story
I started my animal sanctuary when I worked for Hertfordshire Police by rescuing my 3 Lurchers from Travellers. They had been terribly treated & did not trust humans at all. Then came two cats & when I retired with ill health I rescued more smaller animals & slowly more cats came, some thrown in rivers, left in suitcases to die with kittens & others thrown from cars. I do not re-home, they take months to learn to love, trust & be around us & others of their own kind. Our house is now their sanctuary & my time & money is spent towards making them as happy as possible.

6 years agoThank you all, I have a sale of handbags on my KK page if anyone is interested. The money so far has bought £120 worth of flea treatments for all the cats & dogs although we still need to treat the whole house & re-do the animals again next month. two cats seem immune to Advocate now too so may need vet injections :-(

My Tarantulas are doing fine, all a bit hot so doing a lot of water spraying. Most are shedding at the moment. Thank you for your support.

6 years agoAll 4 kittens that came in are either homed or reserved. Been a lot of work but worth it. Not what I usually do as I have lost a lot of time with my regular cats here & also Ziggy Lurcher sprained his leg for a few days & was in agony bless him x Onwards & upwards
